Nammalvar is a legendary Yoga Guru and divine descendant of Lord Vishnu. He is the progenitor of the Vishnu Yoga lineage and a highly revered saint in India, as well as a great protector and benefactor.
This painting depicts the flows of energy, especially the sacred fire of the Nabhi or Manipura chakra (the main storage centre for prana or chi energy in the body).
This relief painting was handcrafted using multiple layers of polymer clay on foam board, baked for strength and durability, and finished with a passe-partout and wooden frame.
